Maxi Gnauck competed for East Germany in women's artistic gymnastics during the Perfect-10 era, in 1980. She won three Olympic medals — one gold, one silver, and one bronze. One element on the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) Table of Named Elements carries her name.
