Natalia Shaposhnikova competed for the Soviet Union in women's artistic gymnastics during the Perfect-10 era, in 1980. She won three Olympic medals — one gold and two bronze. Two elements on the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) Table of Named Elements carry her name.
